Approaches and measures for the environment

Control of energy consumed and water services used

We aim to reduce by 6% or more the levels of green house gases emitted based on the average of the carbon dioxide conversion from year 2007 to 2011 based on the fiscal year 2006, as the first year of this approach to the environment, at Hi-Mecha. In the current year, we aim to reduce by 2% or more the green house gases produced by human activities
We are posting the ecological action that provides for enforcing each item in each field of electricity, water service, gasoline, and kerosene to each section. The employees are encouraged to turn off the lights at lunchtime and to preset the temperature of the air conditioner.
An ecological action is implemented, and thus, we improve the consideration of the environment. Thus we are saving resources.

Soil pollution measures

Wasted oil used with the machine tool etc. is kept in wasted oil and waste depository that is the structure that ensures oil doesn't begin to permeate through the soil, and the waste is processed properly.

Installation of the cutting powdered depository

Recycling has become possible by separating the cutting powder and iron rubbish, and the resource is then able to be recycled.

Green procurement

We are working on a system that selects the each commodity for the environment when business supplies are bought and promotes green procurement now.
Moreover, we are switching our company cars to the low-emission vehicles so that the environmental load is decreased further.
